“It was all a dream” Khaligraph Jones speaks of his collabo with Paul Okoye formerly of P Square.
The OG dropped his international hit 'Tonight' featuring P Square singer Rudeboy on thursday 12th of september.
Rudeboy and Khaligraph were paired together at Coke Studio Africa 2019 and the result is finally here! Tonight which is ‘Africa biggest song’ according to the OG, has lived up to the hype, as it is already in heavy rotation both in Nairobi and Lagos.
The Afro Pop induced song is amazing sonically—it works perfectly with the voice of Rudeboy and Khaligraph Jones. The beat is outstanding and doesn’t overpower their voices, it accentuates and enhances seamlessly while also being present and in your face. This original track is the second song, in #CokeStudioAfrica 2019, to be made into a music video.
The duo sought services of celebrated video director Clarence Peters, for the song’s music video. Clarance has directed videos for Africa’s biggest stars such as Wizkid, Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Tiwa Savage amongst others. His Midas touch is well evident in this project giving it an international appeal.
