Man Utd set price for Paul Pogba Real Madrid transfer.

United will demand an eyewatering £178million to let Paul Pogba join Real Madrid during the winter transfer window.

That’s according to Catalonia newspaper Sport, who claim Los Blancos remain keen on signing the World Cup winner despite failing to strike a deal back in the summer.

Pogba was keen to secure a move away from Manchester United and expressed his intentions to leave by saying: “There is a lot of thinking [going on]. “I have been three years in Manchester and have been doing great – some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody, like everywhere else

“After everything that happened, and this being my best season … it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else

The report says United held talks with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, about extending his stay at Old Trafford. But that hasn’t deterred Real from trying to sign the 26-year-old when the transfer window reopens this winter. Part of Pogba’s reason for wanting to join Real was to play under Zinedine Zidane, his childhood icon.

Real are ready to abandon interest in many other targets in order to finally bring Pogba to the Spanish capital. Meanwhile, Los Blancos center-back Sergio Ramos has told Express Sport he’d welcome Pogba to the club.“I think Real Madrid always has the door open for good players such as him,” he said.
