This is how Octopizzo generates his YouTube views

Popular Kenyan comedian Kennedy Odhiambo, better known as Crazy Kennar, has poked fun at Octopizzo over his ‘viewsgate’ scandal

The Namba nane rapper has been the talk of the town in the last few weeks after Youtube views for his latest jam ‘Nikupate’ were seen to be fluctuating.

At some point the views skyrocketed to 900,000 before dropping back to 400,000 on the popular video sharing platform.

Hawk eyed Hip Hop fans, and a number of local celebrities, opined that the views were fake bots because normally Youtube views are supposed to increase not decrease.

And now, Crazy Kennar has capitalized on the content opportunity, uploading a video that ‘depicts’ what Octopizzo does after dropping a song.

The video posted on his instagram account shows him watching a music video in a self designed view farm (special premise designed to harvest Youtube views)

The clip elicited mixed reactions from social media users with many showering Crazy Kennar with praise for his creativity.

Interestingly, Octopizzo also commented on the video with laugh emojis which was unexpected because people thought he would be angered by the joke but that was not the case.

Here’s the video.
