From the look of things, the beef between Kenyan dancechall singer Karuga Kimani, alias Krg The Don, is not ending anytime soon.
A few hours ago, he fired another salvo at the Wamlambez hitmakers as he flaunted his new car, a Toyota Land Cruiser V8 that will set you back something between Ksh12 million and Ksh15 million.
Krg dismissed rumors that he hires cars and parades them as his own. He told Sailors Gang that the only person who can own such a car is their governor who has been bought for by the government.
“Angalia magari. Hii ni my one of my cars. I don’t hire cars. I have a fleet of cars. Gari kama hii, kwa village yenyu yote hakuna mtu ako nayo,” he stated.
This comes just a day after he blasted the Gengetone group for namedropping him in their latest jam dubbed Chepukati featuring Majirani.
In the new jam, there’s a part where Lexxy Yung, one of the members of the group, says, “Krg uliskia wapi dinga, tunadai ship hamna mzinga.”
The line was in response to an earlier interview that the dancehall star had done where he faulted Sailors Gang for their horrible attitude, adding that it would take them 5 years to own a car.
“They disturbed me. We did not even manage to shoot the video. All of them are dunderheads except Miracle Baby and Qoqosjuma.
Take it from me, you will not go anywhere. Actually, for you guys to own a car, it take you like five years of your career. I have said it,” Krg stated.
As such, it’s easy to understand why their decision to mention him in their song did not sit well with him. In a video has gone viral online, Krg told off Sailors and told them to respect their elders if they want to make it.
