Citizen TV news anchor Willis Raburu recently revealed that he went through a hard time following the death of his daughter and after parting ways with his wife Mary Ngami, alias Marya Prude.
In an interview with Radio Citizen’s Mzazi Willy M. Tuva, the bubbly media personality explained that the first 8 months of 2020 were really difficult for him.
“In the beginning of the year I lost my daughter, somewhere along the way stories about my wife and I emerged and many people read it. Things started looking up towards the end of August,” Raburu explained.
The Moi University alumnus went on to add that what he had gone through had taught him to be human and not force himself to put a brave face all the time.
“Do what you need to do to get over the pain and embrace it. I used to cry a lot. Most of my nights, I could not even sleep. I also went for therapy and still prayed because they go hand in hand,” he added.
Raburu further revealed that he still loved and respected Mary and regretted how he paraded their love life in front of people by posting their pictures on social media.
