Eliud Kipchoge & wife join Margaret Kenyatta for a Morning Run at State
World Marathon Record Holder Eliud Kipchoge had the honour of taking his wife, Grace Sugutt, out on a run at State House. The couple joined First Lady Margaret Kenyatta during a morning run outside her residence.
Margaret Kenyatta was training in preparation for the 2020 edition of the Beyond Zero Half Marathon which she will launch later in the day. Also in the training session was Margaret’s trainer and former marathon world champion Douglas Wakiihuri.
Despite her husband being described as one of the greatest marathoners of all time, Grace has kept a low profile, rarely appearing for press functions.
She was, however, present in Vienna, Austria during the INEOS 1:59 Challenge as she was the first person to congratulate him when he crossed the finish line in that historic time.
