Award-winning Tanzanian singer Naseeb Abdul Juma, alias Diamond Platnumz, has put East Africa on the map once again after he was featured in Alicia Key’s forthcoming studio album dubbed Alicia.
The Jeje hitmaker has done a track dubbed Weekend Energy with the mellow-voiced American songstress and many of his fans can’t wait to listen to it when the album is released later today.
Taking to Instagram, Diamond thanked Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz for deciding to have him on the album. He went on to add that he was really looking forward to its release.
“It’s a privilege and honor to be featured in this iconic album of the Queen. Thank you @aliciakeys and my brother @therealswizzz for believing in me. I really can’t wait for the album to be out this Friday,” he wrote.
Alicia and her husband Swizz have never shied away from showing how much they admire Diamond and love his music.
On February 19, Swizz Beatz shared a video of the collabo that Diamond had done with Tanasha dubbed Gere and said he was really feeling the vibe.
A few days ago, Alicia Keys has released her Spotify playlist and it featured two songs from Diamond Platnumz i.e. Nana which he did with Nigeria’s Mr Flava and African Beauty by featuring American singer Omarion.
